Transfer Community Projects, Programs, and Services funds

June 28, 2017

For the purpose of transparency, please note the changes for the use of CPPS funds that were transferred to SDPD Central Division on May 10, 2017. The original memo (attached) requested the following:

• $5,000 to assist with the improvements of Central's Division new officer break-lounge, including the purchase of a 20ft metal containers, shelving, and benches
• $2,000 to contribute towards the gun buyback program.

However, due to a donation made to SDPD Central Division, funds to purchase a metal container are no longer needed. Central Division would like to change the amounts that were allocated to be used as followed:

• $2,000 to assist with the improvements of Central's Division new officer break-lounge, including new shelving and benches
• $5,000 to contribute towards the gun buyback program.

You may contact my representative Gabriela Dominguez at (619) 236-6688 for additional information.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
