Allocation of Council District 8 Arts, Culture and Community Festivals (ACCF) with Discretionary Transient Occupancy Tax [TOT] funding for Athenaeum.

I am pleased to allocate $2,000 of my Council Office’s Fiscal Year 2018 Discretionary TOT funds to support the Athenaeum.

The funding would support an Organizational Support Program by funding Ritmos Mestizos. A music and dance series of three events designed to celebrate Latino and Chicano culture.

I respectfully request that a total of $2,000 be transferred from Council District 8 TOT Fund: 2000205, Cost Center: 1414111219, GL: 512059 and be used to augment the existing contract between the City and Athenaeum.
