Allocation of Council District 8 Arts, Culture and Community Festivals (ACCF) with Discretionary Transient Occupancy Tax [TOT] funding for The PGK Dance Project.

I am pleased to allocate $2,000 of my Council Office’s Fiscal Year 2018 Discretionary TOT funds to support the PGK Dance Project.

The funding would support an Organizational Support Program by funding dance classes and lecture demonstrations at Healthy Health Fair in Sherman Heights that would be free and open to the public. PGK mission is to create and produce dance centered programs and performances made affordable and easily available to the public. The funds will be used to supplement fees related to artist, space rental, and marketing/promotion of the programs.

I respectfully request that a total of $2,000 be transferred from Council District 8 TOT Fund: 2000205, Cost Center: 1414111219, GL: 512059 and be used to augment the existing contract between the City and The PGK Dance Project.
