Recently the Chief of Police stated that a video related to a recent officer involved shooting would not be released for public review. The process by which decisions are made regarding the release of such information is critical for the public to understand. As such, per the City Charter, who has final authority of the release of information, including, but not limited to, body camera videos and third party videos concerning a police related incident?
