Nomination of Deborah McKissack to the Citizens' Advisory Board on Police/Community Relations

I am pleased to nominate Deborah McKissack to the City of San Diego's Citizens' Advisory Board on Police/Community Relations.

Ms. McKissack has worked as a health care professional for many years and served as a Board Member for both the Alliance Healthcare Foundation and the San Diego Black Health Associates.

She is currently retired and a resident of Shelltown, located in my district. She is a lifelong resident of San Diego and attended Balboa Elementary, Memorial Jr. High School, and Lincoln High School. Having been raised in the Southeast community, Deborah provides a valuable perspective and insight for recommendations to enhance community and police relations.
