SAN DIEGO (September 19, 2017) – Councilmember Alvarez has issued the following statement regarding his support for the resolution in opposition to Executive Order 13767, which builds a wall along the United States border with Mexico:
“The border wall is a stupid idea. The border can become efficient and safe with investments in infrastructure and technology instead of wasting billions of taxpayer dollars for a wall which will accomplish nothing.”
