What: Beyer Park Kickoff Rally

Where: Corner of Beyer Blvd. and Enright Drive
Why: The Beyer Community Park project would create a 12.6 acre community park serving the San Ysidro and Otay Mesa communities and include amenities such as lighted athletic fields. This site is located on undeveloped property which has been owned by the City since 2001.
To move forward with this project, the General Development Plan (GDP) must be updated at a cost of $300,000. This cost was included in an Alvarez/Cole/EmeraldJoint Budget Priority Memo for funding in the FY16 Mid-Year and FY17Budget.
