Assemblymember David Alvarez Hosts Town Hall in Bonita

San Diego, California – Assemblymember David Alvarez (D-San Diego) will be hosting a Legislative Town Hall in Bonita on Saturday, February 25, 2023.  He will be discussing state legislation, issues affecting the Bonita community, and other state legislative updates impacting the 80th Assembly District.

Assemblymember Alvarez serves as Chair of the Joint Legislative Audit Committee and Chair of the Select Committee on Reconnecting Communities and also serves on the following legislative committees: Aging and Long-Term Care, Budget, Budget Subcommittee No. 2 on Education Finance, Business and Professions, Military and Veterans Affairs, Emergency Management, and the Select Committee on California-Mexico Bi-National Affairs. He also serves on the CSG West Border Legislative Conference and the Colorado River Forum.

The 80th Assembly District includes the communities of Barrio Logan, Logan Heights, Sherman Heights, Bonita, Lincoln Acres, Otay Mesa and San Ysidro, along with the cities of Chula Vista, National City and Imperial Beach.
